The statement Petra made - see above was:

"Don ran a catalog search for the Bodega Bay quake and found that there has never been an
earthquake within 24km of that location. I was thinking this morning I knew it was a rare
spot, but had no idea it was that rare. Even more rare was the fact that I got to watch its
affects on the seismo as it was occurring."

There was no mention of culling out only events on a particular fault - only that
within 24 km of this event there "HAS NEVER BEEN AN EARTHQUAKE". Clearly
this is incorrect.

Everyone on this board should take care to say what they mean to say - there are
lots of people who take exception to false (however unintentional) statements to
discredit the person making those statements.
