Would it help if contestants were held to stricter parameters?

For instance, if all predictions had to be within a certain set radii that increased exponentially with predicted magnitude? And/or, if we had firmly set time windows?

Such a scheme might take the load off your shoulders and make us all more accountable. With such a plan, the possibility of no clear winner of any given contest would have to be considered.

Does this make sense?

Maybe I'm just feeling premature guilt for the chocolate binge in my future.
