I should have mentioned in my original note that a Ml 3.4 foreshock occurred
on April 2 closer to Don's predicted epicenter and in the center of his time
window. This was the first M>=3.4 event in the Vancouver Island region since
December, 2001. PGC gives the following details:

Don's forecast had been for

F: 02APR2002 +/-2 day 49.6N 127.6W Ml 3.5-5.0 Vancouver Isl. within 35 km

It should also be noted that epicentral parameters from this region often
differ considerably from network to network often differing by as much as
50-100 km for a single event, so location comparisons may be invalid.
