Another Close one for Don. NCSN is identifying the following event this evening: O: 01APR2001 06:47:37 38.78N 122.75W Ml = 3.0 ESE of The Geysers, CA Don had forecast an event in this area for today (#13877) as follows F: 01APR2001 +/-2 day 38.5 N 122.6 W Ml 2-3 Santa Rosa CA 35 km radius The event occurred on the day expected at approximately 35 km from the forecast Epicenter and at the higher end of the expected magnitude range. She could be sound asleep and never know that a quake had just occurred near her. Looking for 2.0 to 3.0 quake at 38.5N/122.6W. This is about 15Km NE of Santa Rosa, California. Should occur on 04/01/2002. The window will open on 03/30/2002 and will close on 03/03/2002. The radius for this will be 35Km. However if she sleeps through that one maybe she can stay awake long enough to feel this one, but I doubt it. Looking for 2.0 to 3.0 quake at 38.5N/122.6W. This is about 15Km NW of Santa Rosa. Should occur on 04/03/2002. The window will open on04/01/2002 and will close on 04/04/2002. The radius for this will be 35Km. Hey Kiddo. Don't bother trying to stay awake.
