That's up for grabs. Personally, I evaluate the prediction as given so outside the predicted window is a miss. But the intent of this program is to show the best fitting quakes.

A cutoff is actually not necessary because the program will find the quake which is closest in time and that will depend on the database itself. A ridiculous result should be self-evident and the probability would be nil anyway.
