Allow me to add that I am not as clear on government employees' copyright laws as I am on non-govt. employees.

However, it seems that if one were posting their ideas as an individual, not on govt. time, and not at govet. expense, those ideas would belong to the individual.

So Lowell, I think you have little to worry about. In fact, nothing. You are the one who educated yourself in this field. If you are a govt. employee, that does not strip you of your rights as an individual to post information and your interpretation of it. As long as you don't violate national security, no one will even blink.
