There is a very fine line between property rights and protection of property (in this
case intellectual). I have always found the lack of ability to protect intellectual property
created at a government facility a bit frustrating. And I agree that it is not desirable
to have semi-private posts created on this board posted elsewhere, especially without
proper credit. There are a lot of things said here that, taken out of the context of
the discussion, could easily be misconstrued by unscrupulous parties.
That fine line has been walked before, and where there is a will there is a way -
in other word according to the words of an old song - we will work it out.
