Yes, I am most interested in seeing Don's predictions being evaluated by Roger's approach. I think worrying about whether these predictions can save lives is getting ahead of ourselves-I want to know how good Don's predictions are or are not much better than chance (taking into account that one can do better than chance by "persistence" in weather forecasting (just forecast that tomorrow will be the same as today). (yes, I have read Lowell's evaluations, but want to see another evaluation as independent as possible from Lowell's
