Hi All,

The match for today's off No. Calif quake was reported on 1/28/02 to Don via e-mail, which has been forwarded to Canie as usual.

As you will note I had a problem in counting the seconds, but I feel confident this is the tone which matches today's quake. Measuring due West from Eureka the distance is 160 miles, which would equal 8 on my ear tone measuring distance, however, with triangulation, from my location to the epicenter it is around six to seven seconds.

As a side note, this same area had a quake I believe just about two weeks ago. Another place to keep an eye on for future events......Petra

(Tones in between the above and the left ear tone report have been omitted from this report)

8:17PM LEFT ear tone, Between 6 and 8 seconds. (You interrupted me before I wrote down my notes, I was just trying to recall if it was between 6 and 7 seconds, or between 7 and 8 seconds, thus this timing is unusual.)
