Mt. San Gorgonio & Nevada quake matches
|

Hi All, Here are my two most recent matches. The San Gorgonio one is interesting in that I heard the tone on the morning we were leaving Parkfield and driving into San Miguel. But the second one, you can say I do wear egg fairly well. LOL Instead of thinking of a quake in the East with that typical granite like sound, I sent my e-mail to Don suggesting it was South. In hind sight I think this is because I haven't heard very many quakes east of the Sierra's, but none the less, the distance and granite sound are a true match for Nevada. The sound was moderate with a bit of electrical or granite quality. As we discussed this places the quakes possible epicenter near the Inglewood/Whittier area. Possible Mag at 4.5+. Petra
