Hi All,

I was watching a TV show the other night about disasters at sea and it reminded me of when I went on my cruise recently. Our first job was to go to our room and get our life vests and meet in a given area. Attached to every vest was a plastic whistle. Do you remember in the movie, "The Titantic" how the young woman blew that whistle to bring attention to herself?

Well, what about putting a whistle in one's purse, pocket,on a key ring or desk drawer in case of an earthquake? It surely would make one easier to find if the need arose. Beats screaming your lungs out.

So the next time you find yourself in a store that carries whistles, don't forget to buy a couple of them. Hopefully, you never need one. Of course they are good for other moments as well. I think every woman should have one or two.
