Chris, Looks like the activity may be spread wider than just the SOCAL area, this new M3.3 quake just in: 3.3 2002/01/29 18:38:56 36.488N 121.442W 6.6 2 km ( 1 mi) S of Gonzales, CA I'm not saying this is definitely related to the 4.2 by Northridge, but it is on a fault that runs in the same direction far north of the area. Not sure what the name of the fault is, but it runs parallel to the SA fault, and is located in-between the San Andreas and San Gregorio faults.
