Nightline had a good report on the volcanic eruption in central Africa last night.
Goma, a city of upto 400,000 permanent residents and up to a million transient
residents. A cholera epidemic is considered highly likely. The eruption is proceeding
through the city destroying all in its path - a major catastrophe and in an area where
catastropic has become epidemic from wars, Idi Amin, Ruanda, Aids.
Prayers and meditation would be accetable at this time.
