A news story on the eruption, with good photos, is on the AOL news. I don't know if you can get there from the AOL web page or not (aol.com). The stories are from Reuters TV. Said that the 1977 eruption had the record for fastest lava flow (40 mph-hard for me to outrun). I've been to Burundi but not Rwanda or Congo. Took a ship built in 1914 and brought into Lake Tanginika by train (big train or small pieces...) down the length of the Lake-and back a few weeks later. Studies faults but not volcanos..... Chris
