Yes, I did see the before and after pix. Watching this volcano go through its phases from year to year has been a true fascination. While its night time eruptions are awe inspiring, so are the ones when the Moon is full and the volcano is covered with a blanket of snow and it shines brightly in the night sky.

There are a few vents along the sides of the volcano and when its having a day where a large steam eruption is in progress you can see these vents emitting steam.

Yesterday there was hardly any steam coming out of the top, and I wondered if the quake near Chiapas, MX would have any influence on it. It may have because today its pumping pretty good. Though one could say Chiapas is to far away to have any influence, when you have quakes that are 74km deep, then I think there is a reason to believe there can be a connection. I shall watch this again in the future and see if there is a pattern.
