Hi BW. Just out of curiosity I ran the locations through a mapping link to see where the quakes occurred. The first one I ran was the 1769. It was about 5 miles of the coast of Santa Monica. The one for 1800 was about 50 miles NW of San Diego. The one for 1808 was about 4 miles north of Portola Valley, which by the way is where the current seismic gap for the San Andreas fault in the Bay Area.
