They're like seismic pulsars." Yeah, and don't I know it. Sitting there in McEvilly's office a few years a back I personally got the talk on micro-quakes. I liked him very much and he had a real twinkle in his eyes when he talked about Parkfield. He's got a sign on his wall from the first days down there. When it comes to stick-with-it-ness, this man only has a few contemporaries. But what I liked more about him than some of his contemporaries is that he is the real thing. What you see is what he is and that is mostly honest. He's a good man. Petra
