In view of the fact that there does not presently appear to be much in the way of help available from formal research groups, many and perhaps most of the people who are attempting to develop earthquake forecasting programs such as myself are making progress a step at a time. I myself recently stored a report at my Web site which explained in detail how other people might develop their own earthquake forecasting programs. That represented one step in my own efforts.

One of the main goals of my personal forecasting program is to circulate earthquake warnings to government officials around the world. It is a complex and time consuming process. When there is some extra time available I may post a brief note here regarding one of those forecasts. It is usually intended as a type of progress report. That is about as far as I am presently willing to go regarding those notes. My own forecasting program has I feel advanced quite a bit during the past year. And with luck, perhaps some time next year more detailed information regarding the forecasts which I am generating will become available.
