Well, I'm floored. (Pun intended.) It seems my sudden dizzy spells might even be a more accurate barometer of impending felt EQ's than the tones I hear.

I knew we were in for one when two nights ago, I got up to go to the john, and it felt as if the ground pitched. I went head-first into a door jam, and still have the egg on my forehead to prove it. OUCH!

This is what it feels like: you're on a boat that suddenly hits an unexpected swell. If that happens more than once in a day, that indicates to me a larger magnitude. Just once is a little one, but still felt.

This "suddenly thrown off balance" thing is quite interesting. I'm reporting these instances to Don along with the tones I hear.

Sure wish the map was up.
