If a person claims that they feel earthquakes BEFORE they happen, then they must be specific about predictions and the very enigmatic no-show.

And that confounds me a bit too..but in the old days:-) we were very lenient on each other....I always had a particular reason for a quake that happened close to me without prediction... but we did not have too many who demanded "the way".
And Roger...We know about medical terms as per false positive...We adapted that to the way we predicted in order to make some sense of it, not to confuse folks....It really meant that the quake was a positive and the prediction was false...but it is the later which isn't proper grammer for the situation. I completely understand what you are saying and agree...but I think or still think we need to come up with a term for folks who are supposedly sensitive and listen to why they think they blew one that happened with no prediction. I know this sounds like hedging...but it helps other predictors to understand with some of us with no real terminolgy...did I obfuscate enough:-)
and I know what the intent of a sceptic is...and I agree with it....otherwise we would have nada! Thanks for your comments...
