1) This is irrelevant to the prediction question. There are thousands of quakes per year. No one would try to predict all of them.

An exception is when someone claims to predict all mag 7+ (for example) and fails to predict one.

2) A miss.

3) Useless. These count againt one if a cumulative scoring system is in place like the one I used to have.

4) A miss. We aren't playing horseshoes. This situation calls for revising the predictive method.

5) A hit. Class A hit if you prefer.
