Hi All. The question is Petra correct can be best said this way. You better believe she is. Petra has been correct in many ways in the past, but her statement in regards to earthquake prediction becoming reality is truer right now then it has ever been in the past. She has always held to the believe that the ability to predict earthquakes will one day become reality.

Petra has asked the question “about what.” Here is the answer Petra. Take Care…Cowboy

Ah Now...Wait A Minute

I just read a string of negatives, so let me turn this into a positive set of thoughts. In life, few things are impossible if the desire to conquer whatever it is, is strong and the motivation is there for the good it brings. I think I just felt Einstein turn over in his grave.

Sometimes you are so close to something you can't see how large, vast or immense it is. Earthquake prediction is just that. I believe its possible that I have a different point of view from experience. I went out and asked those who were premier scientists who had a valid reason for solving this puzzle. Each one contributed thier point of view to me. I read thier work along with countless others and I think I may have glimpsed a few great moments none of the rest of you have.

Earthquake prediction may in fact be only one single idea away. One sunny day out there, there could be a scientist who awakens from his sleep and in dream he sees the answer. Einstein did it several times a day and he invented many things.

However, I do believe the elements that make it possible are already here. They are in the brain cells of the best scientists around the world. The only thing that is holding them back is finding a way to get them to The Summit with the agreement between all of them that they will offer whatever positive thoughts they have and agree that together they are going to make it possible for people to move out of harms way.

Just for a thought, remember these earthquakes were not unexpected by the scientific community. Loma Prieta, Turkey and Seattle. So if they expected them, what was the key ingredient missing from making a prediction? Did they have the right equipment on the target locations? Not for Loma Prieta, they were advised to do so and they didn't. I have no knowledge about Turkey except to say as little as two years ago they expected the quake. In Seattle there was a sudden list of 5.0+ quakes north of the area. We don't know yet if the skilled personnel in that area knew it was a harbinger of the quake or not, but they do know far more than I and yet, to me it was not unexpected at all. In the end, I heard it 2 1/2hrs before it hit. I'd love to know if any of their instruments got the same signal I did.

In three years I've looked far and wide to see what direction prediction was going and I can safely say in my own opinion, its not a dead issue and we are probably a lot closer than we know.
