Hi Lowell & All,

A few years ago I read the words of one Lowell Whiteside in an article written for the Seismological Society of America and all I knew was that he expressed thoughts that mirrored my own and in doing so, I felt hope where at that time I felt none existed.

Lowell, your presence here to me is the granting of a wish I would have never expected to be fulfilled and one I am so very grateful has come to pass.

You offer so much in so many ways. I love your daily reports and doubt any of us here can put the effort into it the way you do. But moreso, you my friend see fairness in all things and perhaps that is your greatest asset.

I for one will miss your presense here, even though for a short period of time and feel the emptiness of the house without you.
