It's getting hard to find much in that thread below, so I'll restart it here.
Chris and 2-Cents heard a similar ear tone about 1:32 P.M. EST this
afternoon. I check the geomagnetic data for that time. There was a
strong geomagnetic disturbance which started several minutes before
1:32 but was on-going at the time of the tone. Not knowing how accurate
their clocks are, I won't say this is clearly simultaneous. I'll let you decide.
Look at the He field component (perpendicular to the earth in the following
data). Link Below
