I would recommend that an ear tone registry be started - like the earthquake
prediction registry. I know we have discussed this before here, but would it
be a lot of work to get something set up which asks such questions as:
1) directionality of tone
2) ears affected
3) length of tone
4) apparent pitch - I tend to agree with Petra on this one, that a "real" sound
is not being heard, but something is being interpreted as "sound" by the
sensory system.
5) Loudness - or variation in loudness with turning head
6) notes

If such a registry could be set up irregardless of whether it is public immediately
or not, it would help people like EQF who would like to help locate earthquakes
using ear tones.

I would also like to encourage everyone on the board to take advantage of
offers of assistance from others such as EQF. It is only by working together
that we can make progress.
