Several months ago this board had an interesting thread (or two) regarding the
coincidence between airplane crashes and associated earthquakes. Some kind
of geomagnetic/gravitational field anomaly was used to explain the apparent
coincidence. To add wet fuel to the smoking embers of this discussion, there
was a plane crash near Zurich, Switzerland about 10 p.m. Local time on Saturday
night (Nov. 24). This was followed by the unusual earthquakes in Italy and the
Mediterranean sea tonight. Coincidentally, the plane crash occurred towards
the end of yesterday's strong geomagnetic storm.
