This is not earthquake related, but I can't pass up sharing this little story with you.

Today I paid a visit to the local Ford dealership to report the problem with my newly installed CD player, I got last week. The serviceman looked at me and said, "you know, if you put the CDs in upside down, the machine will reject them, as it doesn't recognise them."

There I stood in my business attire, and gave him a look that I'm sure had some impact, and just then the service manager being some what brighter told him to order me a new one as its under warranty.

I have to wonder if some people think I have a stamp on my forehead that says, "born stupid." As Don likes to say, I am weird, but surely not stupid. LOL
