Hi Lowell. The area around the Pinnacles is always good for a quake or two at least once a week. That area has never showed much of an increase in activity during a geomagnetic storm even though it is volcanic. Of course the volcanics associated with the Pinnacles are down in the area of Lancaster, California. The Pinnacles are on a block that has been and still is being dragged along by the Pacific Plate.

One of these days it will be a small island off the coast of Oregon. Take Care…Don in creepy town
