Hi Lowell. I will admit my method of choosing which data I post leaves a lot to be desired. I guess the best excuse I have is that over the next couple of months there is a very good chance of an increase in quake activity in the Bay Area and the area to the immediate north. I guess I kind of forgot about Southern California. No disrespect Canie.

The current data I have gives me a location of 22Km NW of today’s 5.1Ml quake at Anza for the day of 11/01/2001. The magnitude was not this high, but the most recent geomagnetic storm just might have moved it one day ahead of time and increase the magnitude by about 2.0. However that is speculation.

No holes in the data. I have data for just about every location in the world. However for the present time I’m concentrating on the areas that I’m familiar with. I have been looking for one near your front door, but so far haven’t found any. However I expect that to change very soon. Just so there are no mistakes just remember that I only forecast them. I don’t cause them :-)
