The studies I refer to were part of a recent project undertaken to determine the validity
of tidal triggering on local seismicity. The study was a stastistical analysis of rates of
seismicity on each day of the lunar month in more than 75 different regions of the
world. The study was published as part of my PhD Thesis "Short-term variations in
Seismic Hazard" published by the University of Colorado.
