I've created a set of topics on the new 'test' forum that I think/hope would fit the current and short term needs of the users.

They're not active yet (except one), but I invite comments and suggestions.

One particular I'm wondering about is if it's good to have split the topics into categories like I did, or should I just lump everything under one category to make the list more compact? It's an easy fix.
