Hi every one! Last time I have given my predictions as follows: NORTH EAST INDIA-NEPAL-BENGAL-HARYANA (REGION 1) AND / OR PHILIPPINES-JAPAN-MANGOLIA- INDONESIAN ISL.MAY EXPERIENCE 5+M QUAKE WITHIN 48 TO 130 HOURS FROM 10 AM ON 15 OCT.2001. STRESS ACCUMULATION CONTINOUS OVER MEDITERRANEAN SEA AND SOUTHERN INDIA NOTICED. MAY LEAD DEPRESSION OVER SEA. Though my first part of prediction is taking its own time, the second part of my prediction came true by release of stress over Mediterranean Sea area as follows: (From EMSC report) 2001/10/18 18:08:40.1 39.0N 14.5E 10G Ml3.7 A INGV TYRRHENIAN SEA 2001/10/18 18:08:36.9 38.7N 14.2E 10G Ml3.9 A INGV SICILY, ITALY 2001/10/18 18:08:00.6 36.9N 16.9E M 4.2 A MAD CENTRAL MEDITERRANEAN SEA 2001/10/18 18:07:50.9 36.6N 17.2E 10 Mb5.3 A MIX CENTRAL MEDITERRANEAN SEA 2001/10/18 18:07:29.0 34.0N 17.0E Mb5.4 A. SED CENTRAL MEDITERRANEAN SEA I believed that the excess stress over Mediterranean sea released in the form of quake rather than forming depression over sea. I believed that this is another Moon induced quake for the last new moon on 16.10.2001. (Details are given below) Please note that Southern India may also be disturbed on the same time but the platetectonics under Southern India was considered very strong there was no result so far. Usually occurs minor quakes over Central or in Southern India. So if any results come across I will keep you inform.
I have categorized that there are 3 forces acting on earth for triggering earthquakes. 1. Strong sun flare activity which affects the electromagnetic field of the earth and the vibration of the earth transferred to liquid lava inside to earth and activate the platetectonics. 2. Planetary movement near the earth (during orbital rotation) that also change the magnetic field of the earth as given above. Here Moon is playing an important role comparing other planets. 3. Self rotational motion of the earth which accumulates stress over a period and suddenly released on one day because of the above 2 reasons. Apart from the sun flare activity days, during New Moon and Full Moon periods (usually one day before or two days after the moon comes to Zero degree with Sun and the Earth) high intensity quakes were occurred which you may refer in the following table:

(item No.8 and 19). I consider that the earthquake occurred normally around 48 hours (on an average) after getting disturbed by external forces depending upon the viscosity of the place. Many things to discuss. So leave it to you all. Apologise for long letter and poor English. But please try to catch my point. R.SHANMUGASUNDARAM 19 OCT. 2001
