Actually, it is the Handbook of Chemistry and Physics. According to Wikipedia, the original edition was published in 1914. It comes out once a year I believe. And I think that I might have one of the fairly early copies from way back, when its periodic table of elements listed them as being Fire, Water, Air, and Earth, or whatever.
