Re: Got yer rubbers on, Roger? Update again |
Brian; I tried everything I could think of, even putting Win 7 in another partition, dumping that and put XP pro in it's place and copying things over from C: that needed saving. Then I reinstalled the original XP in the new partition, deleted the old C: partition and moved the new one over. That really turned out bad. Linux messed something up in the move. Finally I reformatted and reinstalled XP but then it got picky and insisted on IE8 which wouldn't download or install so I gave up and went to bed. This AM, IE8 had installed which is spooky because the PC was off. Updating windows worked as it should and all is well. Until next time... Roger Follow Ups: ● Re: Got yer rubbers on, Roger?
