Yes, it's a valid CSV format and fortran wouldn't have a problem with it because it has a "blank zero" option which Basic lacks. But basic also considers variables to be either numeric or string.

The program I wrote extracts what I need, cleans it up and writes a properly formatted output file so I can update my quake files.
