Well, You didn't say "No." So this is worth exploring. The modifications I mentioned would be worthwhile. And as I said, one of the main goals in sticking with the WWWBoard program is because it can be used with the CGI program emulator, Xampp. That can make adding features to the program much easier. The program can be developed on a PC and then copied to a Web site. Those security changes I mentioned require virtually no effort. And as far as time goes, I can help with the programming. My version of WWWBoard already does more than the one you are using. So all of the modifications in your program are actually not even needed. For the next week or so I am going to be spending a lot of my free time getting my personal earthquake forecasting computer program fully operational again with the latest additions. It took a good part of a day just to merge Roger's updated program with my Perl language program. His program looks at an earthquake's latitude and longitude and generates the name of the country or area where the earthquake occurred. The present NEIS search data don't contain any country names. And they are needed for my own program to work properly. At least things seem to be back working again. Once again, if you enjoy doing programming then developing an enhanced version of the WWWBoard program would probably be fun. Board visitors and posters could actively comment on the content of the various Web pages it generated. And the Perl work would be fairly easy. I am assuming there is a way to add picture files to posts using Perl alone. If not then there are other ways to do that.
