This is a conversational bulletin board not a scientific journal.

Anyway, if either of two projects I am presently working on is successful the science climate around the world could change dramatically.

Those projects basically involve how the U.S. government interacts with the scientific, medical, and general technical communities. Right now a good percentage of our elected officials probably couldn't tell you if Earthquake was one word or two as in Earth Quake. Some of them would probably tell you that it is a dairy products based drink you can purchase at a fast food restaurant.
