Roger, I think there were a couple of things, but I forget except for I think the following was mis-leading: You did not subtract for multiple quakes on one day, and then you scored out of all the quakes. Amit, and I, thought you should have subtracted these from the total. Some other posts may, or may not have made the percent look worse than it should have, maybe by comparison. Amit pointed out that he could have all quakes occur on days he predicted but he would get a low score.

I'll give my own example: 10 days predicted, 100 M6+ quakes, but all occur on the 10 days, you would score this as a 10% prediction. Then comparing 10% to chance.

I think you were being too rigid with this and thus misleading.
