As I stated earlier, there might be some Perl code or some other program that the WWWBoard Perl program can link with that would let people store picture files with their posts. And some requests for information on the Perl Newsgroup might answer that. I can ask those people if you would like.

My own servers have a variety of programs that make that somewhat possible. But I don't know if those programs would run on your server.

Finally, if you want to get any work going with WWWBoard program changes you might want to send me a copy. And any code that you consider to be confidential can be removed before you send it. I can then compare the version you are using with the freeware one I have myself. Mine might be a more advanced version of WWWBoard. I can also tell you how to structure your WWWBoard server directories for maximum security. It took numerous questions on the Perl Newsgroups and quite a bit of experimentation with my own server directory system before I learned how to do that.

Also as I said back when Canie was running the board, I actually already have a copy of the WWWBoard program you are using without the changes that you have recently made. Canie’s server accidentally sent me a copy. And at the time I wasn’t sure what it was and stored it somewhere on my main computer. But as I also said, I regarded it as protected computer code and have deliberately never looked at it in detail.
