Yes. They've changed a LOT of things. It seems they've even changed the event ID's as well.

For example, my bookmark for the 2011 Tohoku quake in Japan is:

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Quakes/usc0001xgp.php

Which incorporates the event ID of "usc0001xgp", which is used in the catalogs.

But now that link doesn't work, but I used the new page's search function and the new link is now:

http://comcat.cr.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/pde20110311054624120_29#summary

And the event ID is now "pde20110311054624120_29".

I haven't even found a way to download the entire catalog yet.

I know the price of progress means that we can't hold on to past methods forever, but dang, it's like they dropped a nuke on us and we're all noob's now.
I'm sure in the end, once we figure everything out, it will be better, but the sudden shock is irking a LOT of people.
