Geologist's Easter (O/T) |
O/T, I think I will see if my daughter (Island Daughter, ID), if she will hide bottles of beer around the house for a Geologist's Easter. We had a Geologist's Easter 15 +/- years ago at the coast on the mainland 20 km from here: hid candy on the coastal outcrop of Narangansett Pier granite, which has 100% outcrop and is full of cool little faults with structural features such a slickensides, horsetails, linking structures. ID had to do a little minor rock climbing. Have a good one Follow Ups: ● Re: Geologist's Easter (O/T) - Skywise 16:37:37 - 3/31/2013 (100511) (2) ● Re: Geologist's Easter (O/T) - Roger Hunter 23:01:35 - 3/31/2013 (100515) (1) ● Re: Geologist's Easter (O/T) - PennyB 12:20:49 - 4/1/2013 (100516) (0) ● F.O.P - Island Chris 16:58:29 - 3/31/2013 (100512) (1) ● Re: F.O.P - Skywise 22:03:48 - 3/31/2013 (100513) (1) ● ah crud.... picture didn't embed. - Skywise 22:05:26 - 3/31/2013 (100514) (0) |
