My forecast Web page has been updated. Quite a few low intensity signals were recently detected. That is often a sign to me that there are microfractures occurring in a fault zone where a powerful earthquake is getting ready to occur.

However, that is not a rule. Large numbers of low intensity signals were detected almost constantly from July of 2010 until after the extremely powerful March 11, 2011 Japan earthquake.
