Chris, What I would have been establish again and again is SSD method is doing wonderful to predict EQs in advance so it should be developed by giving proper attention by Govt. It is new way of Science which will replace and open new thinking. Nations spending lot of money after the event with great human loss is no use. A single man without any support doing Banking business did this much level think about the science community if carry over this, what will be the output. Whatever be your statistics for quake prediction said, see now lot of loss happened due to this event which consider as important.
