Re: Moral from 6.6 NORTHEASTERN SAKHA, RUSSIA |
Hi Shan, You might take a look at Chart B on the following Web page and also my EarthWaves note below that. http://www.freewebs.com/eq-forecasting/Data.html http://www.earthwaves.org/wwwboard/messages/100289.html The high intensity EM Signal line on Chart B for that time points to about 142 E. And that means that the probability is high that the EM Signal was pointing to the approach of that earthquake. Another forecasting success. As I said in another note, I am now making direct efforts to get the U.S. government to acknowledge the fact that at least some earthquakes can be predicted. And although I have not done this yet, I am planning to point to both your Web site and Pavel’s site as examples of the types of technologies that the U.S. government should be developing or at least making use of. I believe that you have both indicated in the past that this is your wish. U.S. Policy Makers are to a fairly large degree in agreement with me regarding energy development policies though they are really dragging their feet with regard to actually doing anything along those lines. It is somewhat surprising that they are even slower (as in dead stop) to accept the fact that they could be forecasting earthquakes. Some day, someone should write a book on how government official think (or whatever it is they are doing). These are personal opinions.
