There was a M6.6 thrust (slightly oblique) quake in Siberia right on where the USGS map shows the North American-Eurasian plate boundary. What is North American plate doing in the middle of Siberia (I knew there was a boundary somewhere but really am not up on this).

I waited quite a few hours to post because the USGS says it is in Serbia, but this seems to be a typo since Serbia is many 1000s of km from this quake epicenter.

They just fixed it: says Russia now.
