Brian; It all started when the PC was making noises and slowing down. I figured the C: drive was failing so I put in another drive and used Synctoy to transfer the files That wouldn't boot so I reinstalled XP, effectively wiping out my email setup. I finally discovered that the problem was dust inside combined with a wide cable blocking the CPU and power supply fans. Now it's back up to speed except for email not accepting ANY passwords, even when I set new ones. Skybeam gave up on it. Hopefully I'll be moving to Longmont soon and can get some decent ISP but until then...
