See the link: close call on small asteroid/large meteor. The linked video shows it to miss by only 2 earth diameters or something like that. This may be the closest detected for something that large over the last few years (I assume that the largest meteorites that have hot the earth over the last few years are much smaller, but I suppose I don't know the size of some that broke up as the fell.
