The amount and relative size of new earthquakes appear to be slowing in relation to the recent California/Nevada swarm, which averaged around 240/day for about the last 2 weeks. Prior to that, the usual trending appeared to be only a few days/week with around 240 quakes, followed by a quick decrease to about 180/quakes per day for the remainder of the week.

Has anyone else noticed a pattern developing? Are we in the low part of a larger cycle perhaps?
