Petra's New Home

Hi All. Well Petra has moved. Well sort of. The movers didn't show up so we took what stuff we could. They are supposed to be at her old place today at 10:30. After the royal butt chewing she gave the manager yesterday I guess he figured he had better make good on the contract. She turned the air blue. I had to put the phone in fridge to cool it off.

We got a late start on the move so by the time we really got into it the temperature reached 100 and that was in the shade. We didn't stop until around 09:00PM. By the time we finished what bit we could do it was about 01:00AM. All in all I would have to say we had quite an adventure in moving. I can tell you right now that it's something that I would not want to do as a living. Fortunately I'm in a position that I don't have to.

The neighborhood she moved into is very quiet. Almost to quiet. I will have to admit though that it sure beats the one she left. No squealing of tires when cars go around the corner or slide to a stop. That is if they stop in the first place. None of the roaring sounds of motorcycles tearing down the street.

Her two kitties haven't taken the move very good. For the most part they are still in hiding. They don't get out and venture around all that much. It will take them a couple of days to adjust.

I will have to say though that the little lady with the blonde hair is one hell of a trooper. She may be down, but I have learned never to count her out. Despite all of the adversity that she has gone through the past year, and the garbage she had to put up with just to get her home sold and get moved to here she has not lost her cool, or the bright smile on her face.

I have had a lot of admiration and respect for this little lady with the blonde hair, but after seeing what she has gone through the last month that admiration and respect went up another notch. In my book she is tops. They don't come any better. Take Care…Don in creepy town

My hats off to you Petra. I think I'm have become a much better person since I've known you. With all my admiration and respect…Cowboy
