Hi Lowell and All, Some who are regular readers here will recall this story I'm about to share once again, but for those who haven't heard it, it will tell you how knowing about earthquakes in advance can be painful when you can't do anything about it. In memory of those lost in Mexico City, I'll never forget you. Three nights before this earthquake I had a very vivid dream. In the dream I saw five men standing in a room reminicient of a room you would see in the White House. In the center of the room was a very large highly polished table and four of the five men were American Presidents. Today I can't recall who they were as its been so many years ago, but I know some were deceased and some not. The fifth man I had never seen before. He was not very tall, had black hair with bits of gray and wore a gray suit. I heard a voice say "there's going to be a great earthquake." Then the dream ended. I told everyone I knew about this dream and inasmuch as at that time every dream I had where a president was involved came to pass and in short order. But I could not figure out where this earthquake would occur or who the fifth man was. On the third day the Mexico City earthquake occurred. I could hardly believe my eyes when I came home from work that night and saw the man I could not identify on the news, he was the President of Mexico. He was wearing the same suit I had seen him wearing in my dream. I've had two dreams of earthquakes that came to pass in 3 days and both of them occurred in the month of September. There was this earthquake in Mexico City and the second was in the Mendocino Triple Junction in September of 1994. It was the largest quake to strike that area ever and fortunately it was off shore far enough that no one was hurt and no damage was done. But the quake was felt here in Petaluma. To know ahead of time and to be so powerless to send a warning is most perplexing. But every September I hope I will not have any such dreams that month. So far, so good for 2001. Petra
